Le CSHEP est une organisation communautaire qui se concentre principalement sur la formation et le renforcement des capacit\u00e9s des petits exploitants agricoles, en particulier des femmes, dans les comt\u00e9s de Kiambu et de Kajiado au Kenya. L'objectif principal du CSHEP est d'\u00e9duquer, de former et d'aider les agriculteurs \u00e0 utiliser des techniques de jardinage et d'agriculture durables, biologiques et bio-intensives afin d'am\u00e9liorer la production et les revenus, d'assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire et de pr\u00e9server l'environnement. L'objectif \u00e0 long terme du CSHEP est d'encourager les petits exploitants agricoles, en particulier les femmes et les jeunes, \u00e0 prendre des d\u00e9cisions et des mesures fond\u00e9es sur une compr\u00e9hension totale des synergies entre les moyens de subsistance et l'environnement. L'objectif est de favoriser le d\u00e9veloppement holistique de la communaut\u00e9 et son bien-\u00eatre. En fin de compte, le CSHEP envisage une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 agricole capable de contr\u00f4ler, d'utiliser et de g\u00e9rer prudemment les ressources locales pour leur bien-\u00eatre environnemental.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Les objectifs de la CSHEP sont les suivants :<\/span><\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"nectar-fancy-ul\" data-list-icon=\"icon-salient-check\" data-animation=\"false\" data-animation-delay=\"0\" data-color=\"extra-color-1\" data-spacing=\"5px\" data-alignment=\"left\"> \n<ul>\n<li>Rechercher la suffisance et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaires au niveau des m\u00e9nages avec une participation \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e des hommes et des femmes ;<\/li>\n<li>Prot\u00e9ger l'environnement en promouvant des pratiques agricoles respectueuses de l'environnement ;<\/li>\n<li>Augmenter les revenus des petits exploitants ruraux par le biais de petits projets et de la vente des produits exc\u00e9dentaires ; et<\/li>\n<li>Promouvoir une alimentation saine et locale pour les m\u00e9nages des agriculteurs et une nutrition de haute qualit\u00e9 pour tous, y compris les enfants malades et vuln\u00e9rables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n <\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t<p>Les solutions locales telles que l'approche communautaire mise en \u0153uvre par le CSHEP sont au c\u0153ur de la dimension sociale de l'agro\u00e9cologie et sont essentielles au maintien de l'agrobiodiversit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><b>Agriculture bio-intensive<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> est<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fao.org\/family-farming\/detail\/en\/c\/1207089\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> d\u00e9fini par la FAO<\/a> comme un \"syst\u00e8me d'agriculture biologique durable bas\u00e9 sur le travail avec les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de base n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 la vie - le sol, l'eau, l'air et le soleil\" pour atteindre des rendements maximums tout en augmentant la biodiversit\u00e9 et la fertilit\u00e9 du sol.<\/span><\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n<\/div><\/div>\n\t\t<div id=\"fws_69db5753aaa64\"  data-column-margin=\"default\" data-midnight=\"dark\" data-top-percent=\"4%\"  class=\"wpb_row vc_row-fluid vc_row  top_margin_-40px right_padding_10pct left_padding_10pct top_padding_phone_7pct right_padding_phone_0px left_padding_phone_0px top_margin_phone_-30px\"  style=\"padding-top: calc(100vw * 0.04); Fajardo pour le Centre international de la pomme de terre<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Le parc de la pomme de terre du P\u00e9rou (Parque de la papa), situ\u00e9 dans la r\u00e9gion de Cusco, illustre une approche unique de l'utilisation durable des terres et de la conservation de la biodiversit\u00e9. G\u00e9r\u00e9e par six communaut\u00e9s quechua, cette initiative de conservation bioculturelle de 10 000 hectares est un laboratoire vivant pour les pratiques agro\u00e9cologiques et les connaissances traditionnelles. Le parc est consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 la culture et \u00e0 la conservation des vari\u00e9t\u00e9s indig\u00e8nes de pommes de terre, avec plus de 1 300 types distincts de pommes de terre cultiv\u00e9es dans la r\u00e9gion. Cette pratique permet non seulement de pr\u00e9server la diversit\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9tique, mais aussi de maintenir les traditions agricoles et les moyens de subsistance locaux. Elle contraste avec l'\u00e9norme \u00e9rosion g\u00e9n\u00e9tique provoqu\u00e9e par l'agriculture industrielle, qui s'est sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans une douzaine de vari\u00e9t\u00e9s seulement. En utilisant des techniques agricoles traditionnelles et en pratiquant la rotation des cultures, les communaut\u00e9s pr\u00e9servent la fertilit\u00e9 des sols et la sant\u00e9 des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes, garantissant ainsi la durabilit\u00e9 \u00e0 long terme.<\/p>\n<p>La conservation traditionnelle et in situ de la biodiversit\u00e9 dans le parc de la pomme de terre montre que les zones d'utilisation durable peuvent contribuer efficacement \u00e0 la pr\u00e9servation de la biodiversit\u00e9. La gestion holistique du paysage, qui int\u00e8gre l'utilisation agricole, la conservation de la biodiversit\u00e9 et les connaissances traditionnelles, offre une alternative viable aux strat\u00e9gies de conservation conventionnelles. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des approches agro\u00e9cologiques, la riziculture et la p\u00eache sauvage sont combin\u00e9es dans une approche de syst\u00e8mes alimentaires de \"p\u00eache dans les rizi\u00e8res\" qui utilise les divers poissons sauvages, les animaux aquatiques et les plantes comme source de nourriture. Ce syst\u00e8me combinant la riziculture et la r\u00e9colte d'aliments aquatiques est tr\u00e8s r\u00e9pandu dans les zones de riziculture autour du lac Tonle Sap au Cambodge.<\/p>\n<p>La p\u00eache dans les rizi\u00e8res est particuli\u00e8rement importante pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire et les revenus des m\u00e9nages pauvres et sans terre, car elle constitue une ressource commune accessible \u00e0 tous les p\u00eacheurs pendant la saison des inondations. Cela a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnu et inclus dans la strat\u00e9gie nationale du Cambodge pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire et la nutrition.44 Les politiques telles que celles du Cambodge qui soutiennent la pr\u00e9sence d'esp\u00e8ces aquatiques sauvages dans les agro\u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes peuvent b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier aux syst\u00e8mes alimentaires, aux \u00e9conomies et aux environnements locaux. La durabilit\u00e9 de la p\u00eache dans les rizi\u00e8res au Cambodge n\u00e9cessite un engagement permanent entre les d\u00e9cideurs politiques, les investisseurs et les praticiens. Pour am\u00e9liorer la productivit\u00e9 de ces p\u00eacheries de rizi\u00e8res, l'administration cambodgienne des p\u00eaches a commenc\u00e9 en 1995 \u00e0 \u00e9tablir des refuges communautaires pour les poissons (CFR), un habitat aquatique prot\u00e9g\u00e9 de la p\u00eache tout au long de l'ann\u00e9e et reli\u00e9 aux rizi\u00e8res adjacentes.<\/p>\n<p>De 2012 \u00e0 2016, l'organisation internationale WorldFish a men\u00e9 des interventions visant \u00e0 renforcer les capacit\u00e9s et les pratiques de gestion dans 40 refuges communautaires pour poissons au Cambodge, et a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 des enqu\u00eates biologiques, de capture et de consommation pour \u00e9tudier les contributions de la p\u00eache dans les rizi\u00e8res et de la gestion des refuges communautaires pour poissons \u00e0 la diversit\u00e9 des esp\u00e8ces aquatiques, \u00e0 la production de la p\u00eache et \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire locale. Les r\u00e9sultats ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 qu'au moins 150 esp\u00e8ces aquatiques sauvages vivent dans le paysage des rizi\u00e8res de la r\u00e9gion de Tonle Sap au Cambodge, notamment des poissons, des serpents, des grenouilles, des bivalves, des crevettes, des crabes, des tortues, des oiseaux d'eau, des insectes et des plantes aquatiques.45 La plupart de ces esp\u00e8ces sont utilis\u00e9es pour l'alimentation, et les r\u00e9coltes peuvent fournir plus de 60% des poissons et autres animaux aquatiques consomm\u00e9s par les m\u00e9nages de p\u00eacheurs locaux, et un tiers des prises totales de poissons \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur des terres \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle du pays. Les plantes aquatiques sauvages contribuent aussi indirectement aux moyens de subsistance et \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire et nutritionnelle en servant d'aliments pour le b\u00e9tail. Les r\u00e9coltes sont transform\u00e9es en produits alimentaires qui peuvent \u00eatre stock\u00e9s pour l'avenir.<\/p>\n<p>L'administration cambodgienne des p\u00eaches a d\u00e9sormais mis en place 1200 CFR, et les impacts des interventions continues r\u00e9alis\u00e9es entre d\u00e9cembre 2020 et mars 2024, mesur\u00e9s par WorldFish, ont montr\u00e9 une am\u00e9lioration de 14% de la biodiversit\u00e9 des poissons et une augmentation de 30% des esp\u00e8ces de poissons, ainsi qu'un bond de 20% des poissons r\u00e9colt\u00e9s46 , conduisant \u00e0 une am\u00e9lioration de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire et du bien-\u00eatre, et d\u00e9montrant les liens \u00e9troits entre la biodiversit\u00e9 et les r\u00e9sultats sociaux, humains et \u00e9conomiques.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n<\/div><\/div>\n\t\t<div id=\"fws_69db5753ab891\"  data-column-margin=\"default\" data-midnight=\"dark\" data-top-percent=\"4%\"  class=\"wpb_row vc_row-fluid vc_row  top_margin_-40px right_padding_10pct left_padding_10pct top_padding_phone_7pct right_padding_phone_0px left_padding_phone_0px top_margin_phone_-30px\"  style=\"padding-top: calc(100vw * 0.04); Ces semences m\u00fbrissent plus t\u00f4t et r\u00e9sistent mieux \u00e0 la s\u00e9cheresse, aux maladies et aux parasites que les semences g\u00e9n\u00e9tiquement modifi\u00e9es des s\u00e9lectionneurs commerciaux, qui donnent souvent des r\u00e9coltes st\u00e9riles. Cette st\u00e9rilit\u00e9 oblige les agriculteurs \u00e0 acheter de nouvelles semences \u00e0 chaque saison, ce qui les rend d\u00e9pendants. En participant \u00e0 ces coop\u00e9ratives, les agriculteurs r\u00e9duisent leur d\u00e9pendance \u00e0 l'\u00e9gard des interm\u00e9diaires, rompant ainsi le cycle d'endettement associ\u00e9 \u00e0 l'achat de semences \u00e0 cr\u00e9dit.<\/p>\n<p>Outre l'utilisation de semences adapt\u00e9es aux conditions locales, les agriculteurs mettent en \u0153uvre des pratiques agricoles durables, telles que le labourage minimal. Cela implique la cr\u00e9ation de petits bassins de plantation remplis de fumier animal et de r\u00e9sidus de culture, qui am\u00e9liorent la fertilit\u00e9 du sol et favorisent la formation d'une terre arable riche. Quelques grains de cultures telles que le ma\u00efs, le sorgho ou les arachides sont ensuite ajout\u00e9s dans les bassins de plantation, dont les taux de germination sont am\u00e9lior\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l'enrichissement de la couche arable. Les bassins ouverts recueillent \u00e9galement l'eau, augmentant ainsi la r\u00e9tention d'eau du sol avant d'\u00eatre recouverts.<\/p>\n<p>Les agriculteurs pratiquent d\u00e9sormais la culture intercalaire, une m\u00e9thode qui permet d'optimiser la capture des nutriments et de tirer profit des cultures fixatrices d'azote, r\u00e9duisant ainsi le besoin d'engrais synth\u00e9tiques. Ils pratiquent \u00e9galement la rotation des cultures afin d'\u00e9viter l'accumulation de parasites et de maladies qui surviennent lors de la plantation r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9e d'une m\u00eame culture. Cette pratique, combin\u00e9e \u00e0 la culture intercalaire, permet de minimiser l'attraction et la propagation des parasites et des maladies. En outre, l'utilisation de d\u00e9chets v\u00e9g\u00e9taux comme paillis permet de lutter contre les mauvaises herbes et de conserver l'humidit\u00e9 du sol.<\/p>\n<p>En outre, dans les communaut\u00e9s qui vivent \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 d'animaux sauvages tels que les troupeaux d'\u00e9l\u00e9phants et de lions, le projet encourage la coexistence entre l'homme et la faune gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des m\u00e9thodes agro\u00e9cologiques. Outre des techniques agricoles am\u00e9lior\u00e9es, les agriculteurs utilisent des bomas ou des kraals, des enclos construits localement \u00e0 partir de toile et de poteaux d'acier. Ces structures durent plus longtemps et permettent ainsi de r\u00e9duire la coupe d'arbres pour les poteaux tout en prot\u00e9geant le b\u00e9tail des pr\u00e9dateurs. L'utilisation de bomas mobiles, qui peuvent \u00eatre d\u00e9plac\u00e9s dans les champs, permet de r\u00e9pandre le fumier riche en nutriments sur une plus grande surface, ce qui enrichit naturellement le sol et am\u00e9liore sa fertilit\u00e9. Ces bomas mobiles emp\u00eachent \u00e9galement le b\u00e9tail de brouter les jeunes arbustes et les arbres, ce qui permet \u00e0 la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation de m\u00fbrir. Ces produits proviennent souvent de communaut\u00e9s traditionnelles, telles que les peuples indig\u00e8nes, les quilombolas (descendants d'esclaves africains) et les petits agriculteurs familiaux. Le concept met l'accent sur l'interconnexion des dimensions sociales et environnementales, en reconnaissant la valeur des connaissances et des pratiques traditionnelles dans la conservation de la biodiversit\u00e9 et la promotion de moyens de subsistance durables.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que les produits li\u00e9s \u00e0 la biodiversit\u00e9 aient \u00e9t\u00e9 largement utilis\u00e9s par les communaut\u00e9s traditionnelles et les populations indig\u00e8nes du Br\u00e9sil, et que de nombreux projets aient exp\u00e9riment\u00e9 des cha\u00eenes de valeur locales li\u00e9es \u00e0 la biodiversit\u00e9, les politiques globales visant \u00e0 les soutenir n'ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 prendre forme au niveau f\u00e9d\u00e9ral qu'au cours des ann\u00e9es 2000. Avant cette p\u00e9riode, les efforts \u00e9taient fragment\u00e9s et manquaient de coh\u00e9sion. Les ann\u00e9es 2000 ont marqu\u00e9 un changement, le gouvernement reconnaissant l'importance de ces produits, ce qui a conduit \u00e0 des politiques structur\u00e9es qui ont am\u00e9lior\u00e9 l'acc\u00e8s au march\u00e9, les opportunit\u00e9s de commerce \u00e9quitable et le soutien institutionnel, tout en b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiant aux communaut\u00e9s traditionnelles et en promouvant la conservation de la biodiversit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Le principal cadre institutionnel qui les a soutenus est le Plan national de promotion des cha\u00eenes de produits issus de la biodiversit\u00e9 (PNPSB), \u00e9tabli en 2009. Le PNPSB \"a pour objectif de d\u00e9velopper des actions int\u00e9gr\u00e9es pour promouvoir et renforcer les cha\u00eenes \u00e9conomiques de produits issus de la biodiversit\u00e9, agr\u00e9ger la valeur et consolider les march\u00e9s durables, en plus de promouvoir et d'acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer les actions visant \u00e0 r\u00e9duire la pauvret\u00e9 et les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s sociales dans les zones rurales (y compris les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s entre les sexes, les races et les ethnies), par le biais d'une strat\u00e9gie de d\u00e9veloppement territorial durable\".<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 l'appui de la PNPSB, une politique de garantie des prix minimums pour les produits de la biodiversit\u00e9 (PGPMBIO) a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9e en 2009, assurant un soutien des prix pour stabiliser les revenus des agriculteurs et promouvoir l'acc\u00e8s au march\u00e9. Cette politique est compl\u00e9t\u00e9e par l'approvisionnement institutionnel en produits de la biodiversit\u00e9 par le biais d'autres politiques telles que le Programme d'acquisition d'aliments (Programa de Aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de Alimentos\/PAA) et le Programme national d'alimentation scolaire (Programa Nacional de Alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o Escolar\/PNAE), qui ont \u00e9galement impliqu\u00e9 le d\u00e9veloppement du march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 la suite des changements de gouvernement, on a assist\u00e9 \u00e0 une relance des politiques de soutien aux produits de la biodiversit\u00e9 sociale, motiv\u00e9e par un regain d'int\u00e9r\u00eat pour l'int\u00e9gration de ces produits dans une strat\u00e9gie plus large de bio\u00e9conomie. Cette approche met l'accent sur l'utilisation durable des ressources biologiques, les innovations biotechnologiques et le d\u00e9veloppement de produits et de services respectueux de l'environnement. L'une d'entre elles, DyTAES ou \"Dynamique pour une transition agro\u00e9cologique au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal\", rassemble des agriculteurs, des organisations communautaires, des organisations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile, des chercheurs et des entreprises priv\u00e9es dans un r\u00e9seau visant \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la transition agro\u00e9cologique au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal. La DyTAES vise, dans le domaine de l'agro\u00e9cologie, \u00e0 appuyer l'Etat dans sa mission r\u00e9galienne d'\u00e9laboration des politiques publiques.<\/p>\n<p>La DyTAES organise les Journ\u00e9es de l'Agro\u00e9cologie pour dialoguer, \u00e9valuer la situation actuelle et \u00e9laborer des recommandations d'actions pour faire avancer la transformation vers l'agro\u00e9cologie. En outre, la DyTAES organise de nombreux dialogues qui cr\u00e9ent un espace inclusif permettant au gouvernement de d\u00e9lib\u00e9rer avec les acteurs cl\u00e9s. Par exemple, la consultation de 2019 sur les politiques nationales en mati\u00e8re d'agro\u00e9cologie a donn\u00e9 lieu \u00e0 un processus de consultation \u00e9labor\u00e9 et inclusif : La DyTAES a consult\u00e9 plus de 1000 acteurs impliqu\u00e9s dans l'agriculture, l'\u00e9levage, le d\u00e9veloppement rural et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire sur 36 sites dans les 6 zones g\u00e9ographiques du pays (Casamance, Niayes, S\u00e9n\u00e9gal oriental, bassin arachidier, Ferlo et vall\u00e9e du fleuve). Ils impliquent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement le d\u00e9ploiement d'une subvention \u00e0 une entreprise locale pour l'aider \u00e0 passer \u00e0 des pratiques plus r\u00e9sistantes au climat et plus riches en biodiversit\u00e9 dans un paysage donn\u00e9.
